MICROLON – Motorbike engine and suspension kits
Designed to enhance performance, reliability economy and emissions.
Modern motorcycle engines are high compression; high performance engines that operate at high engine revolutions and generate a lot of heat.
This increases the potential for damage and performance loss due to friction. Microlon has a formulation for these engines that boosts performance and helps them last longer.
Every motorcycle engine can benefit greatly from a one-time Microlon treatment.

Microlon Review in Dirt Bike Rider magazine June 2012
Ed Bradley – Chief tester for DBR test Microlon on his Honda 4 Stroke MX bike
Ed said that after Microlon was installed in his bike his lap times were 2 seconds faster per lap and that was dispite his new hydraulic clutch burning through on the hot exhaust pipe!
Ed went on to say that its perfect for the hobby rider who wants more power and performance from his bike….I guess Pro riders don’t want more power and performance??? All I know is if you race or ride for please more power is what you want.
What we did not tell Ed was that Keaton Butler on his fully Microlon treated standard Suzuki RM 125cc was another 2 seconds faster again! 125cc vs 450cc!!!!
Microlon Europe would also like to thank the Editor “Sutty” Sutton and DBR for coming to review our product.
FTX Fork Treatment for Motorcycles, Quads & Scooters
FTX Fork treatment with a difference – It make chrome forks perform almost like Silver Nitride Race forks
FTX is a unique product that is intalled in normal front forks, it reduces friction to a level that is similar to that of costly Nitrided forks.
It improves braking, cornering and provides greater safety and comfort whilst pushing the envelope on the road or off!
FTX is a specially formulated product for the use in motorcycle forks and shocks. FTX fills the natural imperfections of the metal with a permanent film that reduces stiction.
FTX is a one-time treatment. Keeping your wheels in better contact with the road, giving you a more secure feeling at higher speeds, and angles while racing.
WHAT IS STICTION?
Short for “Static Friction”. The friction which tends to prevent stationary surfaces from being set in motion.
Two solid objects pressing against each other (but not sliding) will require some threshold of force parallel to the surface of contact in order to overcome static cohesion.
Stiction is a threshold, not a continuous force. So for your forks to compress, a certain amount of force has to be overcome before they start to move and that’s what we’re talking about (the force needed to overcome the static friction until the fork tubes begin to slide).
Material types, surface finish treatment, seal design, coatings and oil viscosity, all play a part in stiction issues. Reducing stiction in our forks allows the initial action to be more fluid in movement and pays off in the smaller choppy sections, breaking bumps, etc.
Simple to install instructions:
- Drain forks completely.
- Shake FTX Treatment until throughly blended.
- Add (1) 2-ounce bottle per fork tube.
- Add fork oil according to manufacturer’s directions.
- Drive minimum of 30 minutes immediately after application to complete procedure.
“Andrew’s Ride for Life”
Over the past six years as a patient of London’s Royal Marsden Hospital, Andrew Gordon’s love for motorcycling has helped him endure the difficult times and treatment associated with Neuroendocrine cancer.
It has truly helped him through some of the very difficult moments of his life along with the unfaltering love and support from Sarah his wife and his three children Emily, Rosie and Bill.
Thinking positively, as always, Andrew has decided to apply this passion for motorcycling to perhaps his biggest adventure yet!
On 20th August 2011 he set off on a 5000 mile ‘Ride for Life’ around the UK coast to raise funds for The Royal Marsden; it is his very personal way of saying thank you for the fantastic support and care he has received from the staff at this wonderful and unique hospital.
He is encouraging friends and fellow riders to join him on sponsored legs of the ‘Ride for Life’ journey to help raise more funds for this fantastic cause. In his words “as long as I can still ride I know I am still alive”.
Microlon Europe provided a complete treatment for Andrew’s Honda 1000cc engine, Polish for the bike and the Visor polish to ensure the best visibility and safety for his trip.
