For the first time Microlon is now available across the UK and Europe. MicrolonEurope Ltd is headed up by Director Stuart Crane and the company is based in Wiltshire, in Southern England. Stuart and his team are proud to offer the Microlon range of products to industries ranging from vehicle, transport and racing to recreational shooting and fishing. Microlon engine treatment is rapidly taking the Motor Industry by storm and the first BBC footage can now be seen here; http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/7969338.stm
It all started in October 2007 when a friend sent Microlon to me to test. I installed it my own vehicle and also trialled the others products that were sent, all over the house and outside on whatever I could find. I was immediately impressed! The results were apparent from the start. I particularly liked the fact that there was no PTFE in the product and you only had to treat the engine once in its life. Better fuel economy, more power from the engine, the engine started easier and ran quieter! I ran out of a number of these products and looked to buy more, I could not find the product anywhere. So I followed the normal approach and called the manufacturer. After a long discussion during which I expressed my enthusiasm for the product he asked if I knew of anyone who may be interested in distributing the product range. 3 months later and after many emails and phone calls we signed the sole distribution agreement for supply of Microlon to Europe and Russia (except Norway)
We immediately commenced a trial with a large operator; this was to be over 3 months on 2 x 12 litre manual transmission Turbo Diesel vehicles. The results were good a fuel economy increase in excess of 15%, the trial has been extended to 12 months now and the transmission and differentials have also been treated. These add small but important additions to fuel economy. Cost savings per vehicle exceed £9,500 in the first year and over £11,000 thereafter
Recently we were delighted to announce a working partnership with Enviros the UK’s leading and most respected Environmental Consultants. Enviros Consulting have formed a partnership with Microlon Europe to help rapid exploitation for this exciting technology. Enviros are renowned as government and business advisors on finding solutions to combat climate change and develop a new low carbon economy. The Microlon solution is seen as a major opportunity to provide rapid reduction in the carbon footprint of private and commercial transport as well as contributing to cleaner air. Peter Young, Strategy Director commented ‘although at an early stage we see multiple opportunities working with Microlon to demonstrate to our diverse client base the economic and environmental benefits of this low cost/quick pay back technology’.
The BBC South Today Transport Correspondent Paul Clifton took an interest in Microlon and the BBC has now shown footage of a Microlon Installation on a Chrysler Grand Voyager 2.4 litre Turbo Diesel that has been driven over 160,000 miles. Paul noted an improvement in Economy and Performance from an early stage and they have informed us that the product will be shown again after further miles have been driven. Our particular thanks to Paul and the BBC for their diligence and good practice.
Microlon has just been voted the Top Product in Car Care Magazine in Japan where it has been sold successfully for over 27 years! It may be new to Europe but it has a long and prestigious history elsewhere.
We are a small company supplying a fantastic product that saves you money, makes your vehicle perform better and cleans up our environment for our children’s future health.
With Microlon in your engine – the more you drive the more you save, where else can you say that these days!
Microlon was founded in 1964 by Bill Williams Sr., inventor of the Microlon Metal Treatment. At that time Bill Sr. was working as a gunsmith on weapons and was selling modified .17 calibre ammunition used by .223 rifles.
He noticed that this bullet, which used a huge charge of powder when fired, created a tremendous amount of extra heat due to friction where it came in contact with the rifling of the barrel. This friction was causing wear and was ruining new barrels after only a few hundred rounds. To solve this problem, he developed a liquid that combined a durable anti-friction resin and a cleaning complex held in a powerful suspension agent. He garnered immediate success of this product and began to realize the potential of other applications. Viewing the gun barrel as a single-stroke engine, where the bullet acted as a piston and the inside of the barrel acted as a cylinder wall, he began developing and testing a formula that would treat engines.
In 1978 he entered this invention and won the coveted first place medal “Medaille de Vermeil” at the SALON INTERNATIONAL DES INVENTIONS DE GENEVE in Geneva, Switzerland. This noted win still stands unchallenged today.
In 1979 he developed the CL-100 Aircraft Formulation for aircrafts and after exhaustive testing by the FAA was granted certification for usage. Over the years, Microlon has grown in reputation as the best one-time metal treatment to use for lubricating and reducing friction in everything from jet engines, machinery, car engines, firearms, bicycle chains to pocket knives. Today distribution is both national and international.
The focus of the business remains the same today as it was 40 years ago; offer the finest products possible utilising state-of-the-art treatment technology. Microlon believes in great customer service, old-fashioned hard work and continues to expand and improve their product lines through constant research and development. As proof of this commitment to excellence and the faith in their product performance, their complete product line is backed by a money-back guarantee.
It also works wherever you need to lose friction Trucks, Coaches, Motorbikes, Agricultural Tractors, Quads, ATV, Rifles, Shotguns, Pistols, Fishing Reels, Radio Control engines, Lawn Mowers, Chainsaws, Generators, Outboard and Inboard Marine engines, Ferries, Railway engines and Compressors. In fact if it has an engine we can treat it, big or small. Around the home or office if it squeaks we can silence it. Over the years Microlon has been approved by the FAA, and its been tested by the French Government.

Microlon First Chemically Cleans The Metal SurfaceMicrolon is added to the crankcase (motor oil) and the fuel tank. It is very important to follow the treatment instructions for your specific engine. Complete instructions are included with the product kits.
Microlon contains a powerful chemical solution that penetrates and thoroughly cleans an engine’s internal metal surfaces before impregnating them. Carbon, varnish, dust, metal particles and other deposits are dissolved and suspended in the motor oil and fuel, leaving the metal surfaces clean. The contaminants are flushed out at the next regularly scheduled servicing. This cleaning process is critical for the proper bonding between the pore structure of the metal and the Microlon film.
Microlon contains special antioxidants and corrosion inhibitors. These chemical compounds prevent engine damaging rust and corrosion, because they work through the fuels as well as the oil, both top and bottom ends of an engine are treated. This part of the treatment also contributes to smoother operation and longer engine life. Microlon does not replace any of the oil in the crank-case. The cleansing compounds simply evaporate through normal engine operation within 1-2 hours.
Microscopic fractured resin particles are impregnated into the metal pores and become an integral part of the metal surfaces they protect. These particles actually mechanically lock into the matrix of the metal asperities and coat the surface. The resulting dry film lubricant is resistant to chemicals and capable of withstanding temperatures far in excess of normal engine operation. The Microlon film has one of the lowest coefficients of friction of any material known to man, yet it is chemically inert and will not burn out, gum up or adversely effect anything in your engine.
Microlon virtually eliminates raw metal-to-metal contact and replaces it with Microlon-to-Microlon contact. This changes the whole internal environment of an engine as metal surface imperfections are virtually eliminated. Friction, heat and wear are decreased while engine efficiency is increased, and your engine will never suffer from another “dry start” when all the other lubricants have settled to the bottom of the sump.
Two pieces of metal treated with Microlon work together. Both surfaces now have new load-bearing surfaces that are almost friction free. The particles in the Microlon coating have tremendous lubricating properties. Each surface is “dynamic” which means the Microlon resins remain elastic under normal operating conditions and temperatures.
